Piano #
The piano is the only instrument I really know how to play; it’s also my favourite. I learnt to play piano formally for about six years (I guess age 7 to 12 or 13). I have spent all the years since then tinkering on it very informally, writing and playing songs based mostly around chords. The extreme self-discipline required to practise and perform “real” classical music eludes me.
