Conlangs #
Constructed languages, or conlangs, were one of my main interests as a teenager. I still find the idea of a single mind constructing a language fascinating and have had a few ideas for conlangs myself over the years.
List of interesting constructed languages #
Here are some of my favourites that I have found online over the years. There has been a wonderful little community of linguistics nerds all over the internet for several decades.
- Alashian
- Fneise
- Gja-zym-byn (gzb)
- Ithkuil is one of the most remarkable things I’ve ever found created by someone self-taught.
- Some updates to the Ithkuil constructed language.
- Itlani
- Kahtsaai
- Novegradian
- Okuna
- Sajem Tan
- Srinawesin, a constructed language spoken by dragons.
- Toaq, a new loglang that seems very interesting.
